Move My Taxes was created for Eyebeam and Google's Data Viz Challenge. We're passionate about data visualization and politics, so this was the perfect project. Using the data set provided to us by the challenge, we were able to visualize the allocation of a user's taxes based off of their income, employment and marital status. Once visualized, the user can tweek how much they'd like to pay in taxes to different categories, and how what the user pays affects the nation and GDP as a whole.
Created as an open project, the framework built for the project is still being developed as an open visualization library.
