W3C WebVR Authoring Workshop
In December of 2017, Diego González and the W3C program committee organized the W3C WebVR Authoring Workshop in Brussels, Belgium. The goals were to share techniques and challenges facing immersive content creators building for the web, and brainstorm solutions for the entire ecosystem. The 40ish attendees were web developers, browser engineers, immersive storytellers, designers, framework authors, founders, teachers, and enthusiasts. I presented Runtime Developer Tools for WebXR and Polyfilling WebVR to kick off discussions on browser tooling and WebVR to WebXR migration challenges.
